Work Schedule
- In Office: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
- Remote: Monday & Friday
- Core Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (must be available before 9:00 AM; flexibility provided)
The Large Customer Services team is building a structured onboarding and training program for Account Managers who support large commercial and industrial customers. We’re looking for a Senior Training Specialist with strong instructional design experience to help shape, develop, and modernize training content in a fast‑paced utility environment.
What You’ll Do
- Design and develop onboarding and training programs for Account Managers
- Create and maintain e‑learning, web‑based, and computer‑based training content
- Develop job aids, training guides, and structured learning paths
- Apply instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE
- Enhance and maintain the team’s SharePoint site, updating and modernizing outdated procedures
- Review and revise existing training materials to align with current processes
- Partner closely with the training team and stakeholders to assess learning needs
- Ensure training supports consistent service delivery across diverse teams
About the Team
The Large Customer Services organization supports large commercial and industrial customers, including:
- Multinational retailers and major financial institutions
- Universities, office buildings, schools, churches, casinos, hotels, and stadiums
- Industrial facilities, production plants, laboratories, and transit authorities
Account Managers serve as the primary point of contact for customer needs ranging from power outages to billing and payment inquiries, with teams structured differently for Commercial and Industrial customers.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in e‑learning and instructional design
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or a technology‑based discipline
- Experience using instructional design frameworks (e.g., ADDIE)
- Experience developing web‑based and computer‑based training
- Strong instructional design portfolio (required)
- Experience collaborating with training teams and subject matter experts

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to organize, modernize, and simplify complex procedures
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
- Curious, eager to learn, and demonstrates a questioning mindset
- High attention to detail and documentation quality
- Experience supporting operational or customer‑facing teams is a plus
