The Senior Training Specialistfunctions as the lead trainer, delivering training to Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller employees, as well as Board of County Commissioner employees. This position provides senior member duties and has developed specialized skills and knowledge of the Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller’s systems.
This position is also responsible for maintaining current systems knowledge, including upgrades, changes, and modifications to those systems. This position may also provide training support on calls relating to the supported systems.

Bachelor’s degree with course work emphasis in Adult Education, Communications, Business Administration, or related field is required.
Additional experience is accepted as a minimum requirement in lieu of a post-secondary degree on the following basis: additional four (4) years in lieu of a bachelor’s degree, and additional two (2) years in lieu of an associate degree.
Five (5) years of recent, relevant, and progressively responsible broad training and development work experience required. In addition, must be experienced in delivering training to individuals and groups in a formal setting. Requires in-depth knowledge of a wide variety of current automated business systems, with demonstrated oral and written communication skills, and knowledge of effective instruction and teaching principles and techniques.
Experience working with Advantage Financials, OnBase, PeopleSoft or similar medium to large ERP preferred.
