Tax Senior
Location: Norwalk, CT (Hybrid or Onsite Options Available)
Compensation: Up to $115,000, commensurate with experience

Position Overview
The firm is actively seeking a Tax Senior to join its growing tax team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with managers and partners, take ownership of complex tax engagements, and mentor junior staff—all within a supportive, low-ego environment that values quality over hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, and C corporations
- Conduct tax research and provide well-supported conclusions and recommendations
- Assist with tax planning strategies and client advisory initiatives
- Manage multiple engagements and deadlines efficiently during busy season
- Serve as a point of contact for client questions and day-to-day communication
- Mentor and review the work of Staff Accountants
- Identify process improvements and opportunities to enhance client service
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (required)
- CPA license or CPA-eligible strongly preferred
- 3–6+ years of public accounting tax experience
- Strong technical tax knowledge and research skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a team-oriented culture
