We are growing and looking for a strong Senior Systems Engineer who can deliver excellent technical outcomes for clients and contribute to a high-performing, values-driven team.


This is not an entry-level support role. This role is for someone who has strong technical judgment, can solve complex problems, communicates clearly, and enjoys helping both clients and teammates move forward.


Role Summary

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will work across client environments to design, implement, support, and improve modern IT systems.


This role includes Microsoft 365, identity, endpoint management, cloud services, networking, project work, escalations, documentation, and cybersecurity alignment. You will be trusted to own complex technical work, support client success, and help improve how work gets done.


What You’ll Do

  • Administer, secure, and optimize Microsoft 365 environments
  • Support Entra ID, Intune, Conditional Access, endpoint management, and identity security
  • Troubleshoot server, network, workstation, cloud, and Microsoft service issues
  • Lead or support technical projects, system rollouts, and client improvements
  • Own escalated support issues that require senior-level troubleshooting
  • Improve cybersecurity controls, technical standards, and client alignment
  • Create clear documentation, repeatable processes, and practical technical plans
  • Mentor other team members and help build shared technical knowledge
  • Communicate clearly with clients, vendors, and teammates


What We’re Looking For

  • Strong experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments
  • Experience with Entra ID, Intune, endpoint management, and security configuration
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across cloud, network, endpoint, and server environments
  • Experience working with SMB or mid-market organizations
  • Ability to own technical problems from discovery through resolution
  • Clear communication with both technical and non-technical people
  • Good documentation habits and respect for repeatable process
  • Strong service mindset and pride in doing work the right way
  • Interest in cybersecurity, Microsoft cloud, and continuous improvement


MSP experience is helpful, but not required if you have the right technical depth, client communication skills, and ownership mindset.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid role. Some work can be done remotely, and some work will require time in our Annapolis office or at client sites in the MD, DC, VA area.


Our office is located on the waterfront in Eastport, on Spa Creek.
