Senior Systems Architect -TS/SCI with Polygraph

*Position is currently located in Elkridge, MD and will relocate to another site in the National Capital Region in Summer 2026*

HOW A SYSTEMS ARCHITECT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

• Manage fact finding, analysis and development of final reports and delivery of presentations related to information technology.

• Responsible for designing,leadingand managing the delivery of mission critical systems and software products.

• Conduct organizational analysis and evaluations todeterminefunctional requirements

• Work closely with versatile systems and engineering specialists to prioritize customer requirements, define goals, and refine businessobjectives.

• Coordinates with Network, Security, and Program/Project Management to ensure team alignment on key initiatives and dependencies between groups.

• Brief and convey technical information to customer leadership and stakeholders.

• Interface directly with other system owners, customer leads, and end users to elicitnew ideasand innovations that can be built into future systems deliveries.

• Develop and apply engineering and design methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced system requirements, hardware/software interfaces, and applications and solutions.

• Senior level experience with design, development,implementationand maintenance of large-scale systems, preferably across multiple hardware platforms and data centers

• The individual should have a strong understanding of the critical role a Systems Architect plays in delivering value to end users

• Participates in special projects asrequired

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Required Education and Experience: BA/BS + 10 years

• Certifications: DoD Approved Baseline 8570 IAT level II certification isrequiredprior to start date.

• Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain andmaintaina Polygraph

• Required Technical Skills: Evaluate information as it relates to requirements determination, conceptualization, design, development, testing, verification and validation, documentation, and implementation.

• Required Skills: Windows systems, Linux, RedHat 6.5, Oracle, SQL Server 2012, Microsoft IIS, MS Hyper-V/VMWare/ESx/Xen Hypervisors, Windows Server 2012r2/2016, Database, and Data Management, Storage, Switching, Firewall, and Security Systems.

• Hands on engineering experience with NetApp and other storage technologies and concepts

• Experience with SAN,NASand iSCSI storage implementations

• Experience with capacity planning and sizing storage and backup environments

• Experience in performance tuning andoptimizingstorage and backup environments

• Experience with data center migrations and storage replication technologies

• Location: On Customer Site

The likely salary range for this position is $157,250 - $212,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
