Purpose of Role:
This position has full sourcing responsibility and will drive Global Sourcing strategies across our Content and Consumer Insights spend tower. Content responsibilities shall be inclusive of sourcing activities supporting the end-to-end Creative Production process and I&A responsibilities shall be inclusive of all sourcing activities related to garnering Consumer Insights for use in delivery of business objectives and priorities. Both focus areas will primarily consist of collaborating with internal stakeholders to build and develop breakthrough strategies to create a competitive advantage for our business. The successful candidate will possess advanced knowledge in each category, as well as be an expert in Sourcing Strategy Development, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement. In addition, the successful candidate will possess the ability to influence with, and without authority in order to achieve critical business results.

You build winning relationship with suppliers, define new and creative sourcing strategies, and lead change with external suppliers and internal stakeholders. In this role, you drive the development of best practices for spend categories to leverage global scale, maximize total cost of ownership savings and enable procurement value contribution. A deep understanding of business needs, supply market insights, risks and opportunities, are necessary to help deliver business goals.
How you will contribute
To help Mondelez International achieve a sustainable competitive advantage, you will apply your knowledge of business strategy for each market, defining sourcing strategies and leveraging the supplier landscape. You will deliver on global, region, or country specific needs, including productivity, cash, quality, service, supplier relationship management, innovation, well-being and sustainability. In addition, you will regularly interact with multiple key stakeholders at global and local levels to achieve business goals, manage supplier relationships, leveraging global scale with a mindset of value and return on ROI, simplify the spend category to ensure compliance with policies and processes to deliver key procurement targets (i.e. productivity, cash flow, on time delivery), manage risk and business continuity, and recruit, retain, develop and effectively manage a team of direct and indirect reports who lead and implement key sourcing strategies globally and/or regionally.

Education / Certifications: Bachelor's Degree Required; Master's Degree Preferred
Job specific requirements: 10+ Sourcing Experience; prior work in FMCG desirable
Travel requirements: As needed, approximately 25-30%
Work schedule: Salaried role; 40 hours week

Mondel?z International is the world's largest chocolate, biscuit and candy maker, and the second largest gum maker. Our North American and U.S. headquarters are in East Hanover, New Jersey, about 25 miles outside of New York City. We have Canadian offices in Toronto and Montreal. We have a strong North American manufacturing presence where we make our well-loved snacks like Oreo cookies, belVita breakfast biscuits, Trident gum and Cadbury chocolates. Our East Hanover location also houses our global research and development center for our consumer-favorite cookie and cracker brands.
