Position Overview:
The Senior Sous Chef will work closely with the Executive Chef to lead day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring consistency, quality, and execution at a high level. This role is ideal for a chef coming from a strong restaurant background or large-format/luxury hotel environment who is ready to step into a key leadership position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily kitchen operations with a hands-on leadership approach
- Execute and maintain high culinary standards across all offerings
- Assist in menu development, costing, and seasonal changes
- Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff
- Ensure consistency in execution, presentation, and quality control
- Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Sous Chef, Senior Sous Chef, or Chef de Cuisine
- Background in high-quality restaurants or luxury hotel environments (large-scale or high-volume preferred)
- Strong operational awareness and kitchen leadership skills
- Ability to thrive in a detail-oriented, guest-focused environment
