Job Description
Padcom is seeking a highly experienced Scheduler IV to support the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) capital improvement program across Los Angeles Harbor College and Los Angeles Southwest College.
This role is responsible for providing advanced scheduling and project controls expertise on complex, multi-project construction programs. The Scheduler IV will lead schedule development, analysis, and oversight efforts, ensuring alignment with program objectives, contractual requirements, and established execution strategies.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in CPM scheduling, time impact analysis, and contractor schedule review, with the ability to translate technical findings into clear, actionable insights for program leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the preparation and maintenance of detailed project schedules based on defined execution strategies
- Perform contractor schedule reviews to ensure contract compliance, quality, and accuracy
- Conduct Critical Path Method (CPM) and Earned Value analyses
- Perform Time Impact Analysis (TIA) to evaluate delays and support claims mitigation
- Review and evaluate change orders and contract amendments for schedule and cost impacts
- Analyze contractor recovery schedules and recommend corrective actions
- Identify schedule-related risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Prepare schedule narratives, reports, and presentations for management decision-making
- Conduct site visits to validate project progress and schedule alignment
- Support cost analysis and development of cost-loaded schedules for cash flow projections
- Analyze budget performance against actual expenditures
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in project or program scheduling on large-scale construction programs
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or related field

- Advanced proficiency in:
- Primavera P6 (required)
- Microsoft Project
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated experience with:
- Time Impact Analysis (TIA)
- Construction claims and change order evaluation
- Cost engineering and scheduling principles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work across multiple sites and in a fast-paced program environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience on public sector or large institutional programs (e.g., education, aviation, infrastructure)
- Familiarity with Build LACCD or similar capital improvement programs
- Proven ability to support dispute resolution and claims analysis
- Experience interfacing with contractors, project managers, and executive stakeholders
