Day to day:
Will be focused on a set of projects. there may be some adhoc projects but not running with them. The news collection and where they research, making sure what needs to be summarized is, putting into templates, writing bullets for executives and taking existing research and analyzing it. This person will be doing research themselves but not creating research surveys or projects. Understanding news at a high level is important for this role. Not just being able to pull up the first news page but checking sources and validating their points is a critical skill. Beyond that, understanding research database inclding Factivia, Lexus Nexus is a critical skill to be able to dig into databases. The research this person is doing is to inform decisions of Products and where the pain points of the product and how digital products work. All other projects are benchmarking analysis and part of it is understanding data and trials.
Written skills are important - will be putting the analysis and research into digestible information for C-Suite level executives to comprehend and understand. being able to tell a story is important but in a brief summarized/bullet point form.
Databases - Someone who can go into Lexus Nexus/Factivia is really great as well as fact checking multiple news websites to validate.

About the Role
The Analyst/Manager will work closely with the Manager of Competitive Intelligence and Consumer Research to provide research and analytical support and drive insightful learnings for the business.
This role requires having visibility into our leading Brand to proactively leverage data to create business value for both our digital and non-digital assets.

Responsibilities
•Lead creation of executive-level “key news” updates, quickly summarizing market and competitor insights from various news sources, vendor research reports, consumer surveys and other sources
•Manage monthly Net Promoter Score analysis, driving insights for the Digital Growth Marketing and BU digital teams
•Lead benchmarking analysis, identify actionable insights and assist with creation of executive slides
•Assist with design and development of Tableau dashboards when needed
•Assist with consumer surveys for the department
•Support other ad-hoc research and benchmark requests
Qualifications
•4+ years as an Analyst/Sr. Analyst, including experience in research, competitive intelligence, or management consulting /strategy, preferably with entertainment industry experience
•Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
•Strong qualitative and quantitative analysis skills (including proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint)
•Basic understanding of company financial statements and SEC filings
•Consistent attention to detail and focus on accuracy
•Experience analyzing results of consumer surveys, with ability to quickly generate insights
•A record of successful consumer research, benchmark analyses, etc.
