About the Role
The Senior Reliability Engineer will define, execute, and analyze electrical, thermal, and mechanical stress tests to ensure the long‑term performance and reliability of tuner switch and related RF CMOS devices.
Required Skills & Experience
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience, or PhD (no experience required)
• Valid U.S. work authorization
• 5+ years of experience in semiconductor device reliability engineering, with emphasis on RF or power conversion components
• Hands-on experience designing and executing reliability stress tests such as ESD, HTOL, and thermal testing
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex electrical and physical failure data
Key Responsibilities
• RF characterization across frequency, power, and environmental conditions, including long‑term stress evaluation
• Development and implementation of wafer‑level RF reliability and performance testing
• Design and execution of ESD robustness testing, including HBM, MM, and CDM
• Power handling validation for high‑power mobile tuner applications
• Thermal IR characterization using QFI or similar infrared imaging tools to identify heat distribution and hot spots
• Intrinsic device reliability testing of semiconductor IC processes and package technologies
• Advanced life testing experience, including RF HTOL and DC HTOL
• Lead failure analysis and root cause investigations, partnering with internal and external labs to drive continuous design and process improvement
