Job Description

This role is based in our Fort Lauderdale Office

As the Senior Registration Manager, you lead multiple portfolios and oversee registration processes across a diverse range of events. You bring in exceptional organizational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and a strategic approach to ensure seamless registration experiences for attendees, exhibitors, and stakeholders.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead registration operations, and implement best practices to optimize processes across all portfolios. This position calls for a commitment to being in the office five days a week.

 

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Registration Management:

  • Oversee the registration processes for multiple event portfolios, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement registration workflows tailored to the unique needs of each portfolio.
  • Monitor registration performance across all portfolios and provide regular reporting updates to stakeholders.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with portfolio managers, event directors, marketing teams, and IT departments to align registration processes with portfolio goals.
  • Coordinate with external vendors or partners for registration software, badge printing, and onsite support across all portfolios.

Team Leadership and Coordination:

  • Manage and mentor a team of registration specialists assigned to different portfolios.
  • Assign tasks, set performance goals, and ensure the team delivers high-quality service across all events.
  • Provide training and support to ensure the team is equipped to handle the complexities of multiple portfolios.

Customer Service Excellence:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for registration-related inquiries across all portfolios.
  • Develop and implement customer service protocols to ensure a positive experience for attendees and exhibitors.
  • Address and resolve escalated registration issues in a timely and professional manner.

Data Management and Reporting:

  • Ensure the accuracy, security, and compliance of registration data across all portfolios, adhering to GDPR and other data protection regulations.
  • Generate detailed reports on registration trends, attendee demographics, and other key metrics for each portfolio including weekly year over year reporting.

Onsite Registration Management:

  • Oversee onsite registration operations for events within portfolios, including staffing, equipment setup, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure a smooth check-in process for attendees and exhibitors at each event.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Manage registration budgets for each portfolio, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
  • Allocate resources effectively across portfolios to meet event-specific requirements.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Successful execution of registration processes across all portfolios.
  • Customer satisfaction scores related to registration.
  • Timely resolution of registration-related issues.
  • Consistency and accuracy of registration data across portfolios.
Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in event registration management, with experience managing multiple portfolios or large-scale events
  • Proven ability to manage complex registration processes across diverse event types
  • Proficiency in registration platforms (e.g., CSI, Cvent, Eventbrite, or similar tools)
  • Strong knowledge of data management and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, CRM systems)
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to details
  • Familiarity with GDPR and other data protection regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Willingness to travel for onsite event management
