Senior Project & Program Manager
About the Role:
The Senior Project & Program Manager plays a critical leadership role in driving construction and facilities‑related project delivery, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. This role provides formal staff supervision, oversees contractor performance, engages directly with clients, and ensures project execution aligns with approved drawings, specifications, timelines, and organizational objectives.
This leader must apply advanced technical expertise, strong business acumen, and strategic problem‑solving skills across multiple disciplines. Proficiency in Asana and strong facilities knowledge—particularly with industrial—are essential requirements for success in this position.
What You’ll Do:
Client Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as a primary point of contact for client communications throughout the project lifecycle. Provide clear, timely project updates regarding progress, risks, schedules, and budget status. Lead client meetings, presentations, and status reviews. Address client concerns promptly while ensuring expectations are understood and incorporated into project execution.Team Leadership & Staff Development
Provide formal supervision to employees, including training, mentoring, evaluations, and coaching. Support recruiting and hiring to maintain a highly skilled team. Manage daily operations through scheduling, task assignments, and cross-training. Equip teams with necessary tools and systems; function as the Asana expert to optimize workflows and accountability. Demonstrate leadership behaviors aligned with CBRE RISE values.Construction Oversight & Quality Assurance
Comprehensive understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations (OSHA/HSE) to ensure all installations meet regulatory standards. Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and approved drawings. Review contractor schedules and verify progress and completion timelines. Evaluate cost payment requisitions, change orders, budget status, and Job Cost Reports. Recommend release of construction funds based on validated project status. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple high-value project lifecycles simultaneously without losing sight of granular details.Safety, Facilities & Site Management
Implement and uphold all safety and environmental standards on site. Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant onsite environment. Use strong facilities expertise in chillers to support operational decisions, troubleshooting, and system integration.Operational Excellence & Problem Solving
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple high-value project lifecycles simultaneously without losing sight of granular details. Improve departmental and cross-functional performance using advanced analytical and strategic skills. Solve complex operational and organizational issues using sound judgment. Enhance processes, methods, and standards for greater efficiency and quality. Collaborate and negotiate with external partners to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $135,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $150,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
Successful candidates may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
