About the Role
A leading provider of advanced wastewater‑to‑energy and industrial treatment systems is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee complex, multi‑component engineering, construction, and installation projects. This role manages internal teams, subcontractors, and project execution from commercial handoff through commissioning.
What You’ll Do
- Lead project delivery from engineering through installation and commissioning.
- Manage subcontractors, consultants, and internal engineering teams.
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, reporting, and documentation.
- Serve as the primary customer interface throughout project delivery.
- Select and manage subcontractors for electrical, piping, construction, and system installation activities.
- Coordinate engineering resources and ensure technical work aligns with project requirements.
- Maintain project documentation, revision control, and industry‑aligned standards.
- Support permitting, inspections, and compliance with governing authorities.
- Lead on‑site system installations with oversight of engineering firms and contractors.
- Support continuous improvement and mentor junior engineers and operators.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical, Civil), Construction Management, or related field; advanced degree or PE license a plus.
- 7+ years managing complex industrial projects valued $5–10M+.
- Experience in wastewater treatment or food & beverage process systems (aerobic/anaerobic digestion preferred).
- Strong subcontractor management skills across electrical, piping, and construction trades.
- Proficiency with project management tools, including MS Project.
- Excellent communication, customer‑facing, and presentation abilities.
- Proven problem-solving, system integration, and process engineering experience.
- Able to lead cross‑functional teams and manage shifting priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
