Job Title: Senior CMC Project Manager
Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid)
Duration: 10 Months (Possibility Of extension)
Job Summary:
The Senior Project Manager will support Cell Therapy Development (CTD) within the Development Ops and Services (DOS) Portfolio Management Office. This role is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects aligned with organizational goals. The PM will manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and resources while ensuring successful delivery across product programs and the broader development portfolio.
The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, matrixed environment while applying PMO best practices and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, and delivery
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans (timeline, resources, budget)
- Manage risks, issues, and change control processes
- Drive cross-functional alignment across teams and stakeholders
- Ensure projects are delivered on-time and within budget
- Monitor progress and communicate status to leadership
- Facilitate project meetings and ensure alignment across workstreams
- Support portfolio-level initiatives and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Conduct post-project reviews and continuous improvement activities
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of project management experience in biotech, biopharma, or life sciences
- Experience in cell therapy, CMC drug development, or GMP manufacturing
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM or life sciences
- Strong knowledge of project lifecycle, scheduling, and portfolio management
- Proficiency in tools: MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP certification
- Experience working in matrixed environments
- Exposure to portfolio management or PMO frameworks
