Must Haves:
- 7–10+ years of Project Management experience within a manufacturing / OEM equipment environment
- Proven ownership of commercial OEM equipment projects sold to customers (order through delivery, installation, and warranty)
- Experience with industrial process equipment such as water treatment systems, pressure vessels, adsorption/absorption systems, or similar
- Strong control of project scope, schedules, budgets, cost tracking, and revenue recognition
- Experience developing large equipment cost estimates and technical proposals
- Ability to lead cross‑functional teams (Engineering, Procurement, QA, Production, Field Service) and manage vendors/fabrication shops
- Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering preferred); ERP experience preferred (SAP Project Systems)
Plusses:
- Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) or applications engineering experience
- Technical sales or pre‑sales project support experience
- Experience with ASC 606 or % of completion accounting
- Experience overseeing third‑party fabrication shops
- Background in environmental, water treatment, air purification, or industrial process equipment

A client of Insight Global that is leader in the activated carbon industry located in Moon Township, PA is expanding their team and looking to hire on a Project Manager IV (OEM Equipment). This individual will lead OEM commercial equipment projects supporting the client’s core equipment business, including water treatment systems, pressure vessels, and adsorption technologies. The role requires deep experience managing complex equipment projects sold to customers, strong financial ownership, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, sales, and external vendors. The ideal candidate brings a strong OEM background and thrives in a technically driven, customer‑facing project environment.
Duties & Responsibilities Include:
- Manage OEM commercial equipment projects from order receipt through warranty close‑out
- Own project scope, budget, schedule, and resource planning with minimal supervision
- Coordinate engineering design, procurement, fabrication, delivery, installation, and startup
- Track project costs, revenue recognition, invoicing, and accounts receivable
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and forecasts
- Lead cross‑functional teams including engineering, purchasing, QA, production, shipping, and field service
- Interface with Sales, Finance, Customer Service, vendors, and customers to meet project objectives
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and customer submittals
- Direct vendor and fabrication shop performance to ensure schedule and scope adherence
- Support pre‑sale efforts including proposals, estimates, and customer meetings
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Travel to customer and vendor sites to resolve issues and expedite project progress
