Senior Project Manager – Water / Wastewater
📍 Texas (Austin)
Let’s keep this simple.
If you’re a W/WW PM in Texas and you’re:
- stuck just managing internally
- too far removed from the technical side
- or not getting real ownership of projects
…this will probably land.
The role:
You’ll be running multiple municipal water/wastewater projects — properly.
Not just tracking schedules.
Not just sitting in meetings.
You’ll be:
- leading projects end-to-end (planning → design → construction)
- owning budget, delivery, and client relationships
- staying close to the technical side
- involved in winning work, not just delivering it
- mentoring engineers and building out teams
What you need:
- Solid background in water/wastewater projects
- Experience across things like treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines, etc.
- Comfortable dealing with clients directly
- Able to juggle multiple projects without things slipping
- PE preferred (or close)
Why people are interested:
- You actually run your projects
- Strong backlog - not a “hope work comes in” situation
- Less layers, more autonomy
- Proper mix of technical + client-facing work
