Overview

V2X is seeking a Program Manager, Sr. to serve as the overall lead, manager, and administrator for the contracted effort. This role is the primary interface and point of contact with Government program authorities on technical and program/project matters. The Program Manager, Sr. oversees contractor execution of contract requirements and manages the acquisition, allocation, and employment of program/project resources.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the contracted effort, ensuring delivery on program objectives and Government requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with Government program authorities for technical and program/project matters.
  • Direct contractor teams across program management, systems engineering, major system acquisitions, and financial management.
  • Establish and maintain technical direction to meet program goals and evolving requirements.
  • Oversee acquisition, allocation, and utilization of program/project resources, including personnel, hardware, and software.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD acquisition policies, procedures, and the DoD 5000 series, including configuration control, systems integration, and software testing.
  • Provide supervision, guidance, and mentorship to diverse teams to drive performance and accountability.
  • Manage corporate business solutions and system supportability to optimize program outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Education / Certifications:
  • All labor categories requiring degrees must have a major in one of the following: Business/Business Administration, Management, or a relevant technical discipline.
  • MS or MA in Business Administration or another relevant technical discipline is preferred.
  • Allowable Substitution: A BS or BA degree with an additional four (4) years of relevant experience may be substituted for an MS or MA.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum eight (8) years of professional experience in Defense acquisition.
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience supporting Navy acquisition management.
  • Experience with corporate business solutions, hardware and software, configuration control, software testing, systems integration, and systems supportability.
  • Experience initiating and maintaining technical direction within broad program objectives.
  • Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with the requirements of the DoD 5000 series.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large, diverse teams and providing guidance, direction, and supervision across all areas of contracted effort, including program management, systems engineering, major system acquisitions, and financial management.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Skills & Technology Used:
  • Proficient in using office automation equipment and standard office software to support daily operations.

  • USD $175,000 - $198,000
  • Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between
  • regional/geographic locations across the United States.
