Why Frame?

Frame is a compliance infrastructure company powering seamless payments for high-compliance industries. We enable high-compliance businesses to move money seamlessly by embedding compliance and payments into a single intelligent platform. We will be the infrastructure that powers high-compliance industries, owning the compliance layer that allows regulated businesses to operate, scale, and access financial services globally.

At Frame, how we build matters as much as what we build. Our values guide how we collaborate, make decisions, and ultimately serve our merchants. We are headquartered in Los Angeles with a global team across various locations. At Frame, we aim to support you throughout the process in the best way possible. We’re committed to making our hiring process inclusive and accessible. If you need any additional support or adjustments, please reach out and we’ll be happy to help.

The Role

We are hiring a Senior Product Manager — Risk Platform to join the Product team at Frame.

This role is responsible for building and scaling the systems that protect the platform — including fraud detection, credit exposure monitoring, transaction controls, and internal tooling for risk analysts — enabling Frame to safely support complex, high-compliance payment use cases.

You will work closely with Engineering, Risk Operations, Compliance, and external partners.

What will you do?

  • Own the risk platform roadmap, including fraud, credit risk, and compliance systems
  • Build internal risk operations tooling (investigation workflows, case management, audit logs)
  • Design and scale transaction monitoring and risk scoring systems
  • Develop credit exposure and payout guardrails (balance checks, funding validation, enforcement logic)
  • Implement geo-compliance and merchant risk controls
  • Identify manual workflows and drive automation of repeatable risk decisions
  • Partner with risk and compliance teams to translate operational needs into scalable systems

What we require

  • 3-5 years of product management experience, ideally in fintech, payments, or a fast-paced startup
  • Experience building platform infrastructure or internal tools
  • Familiarity with payments systems (ACH, card networks, processors)
  • Experience working closely with engineering on complex systems
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity and break down complex problems into structured solutions
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills

You are someone who:

  • Enjoys solving complex problems
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments
  • Is comfortable with ambiguity and building structure
  • Takes ownership and moves quickly
  • Cares about quality and getting things right

The Fun stuff

  • Competitive base salary: $160,000 – $200,000
  • Equity in a VC-backed LA fintech
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Health, dental, and vision benefits + wellness budget
  • Los Angeles office with daily lunch and stocked kitchen
  • Relocation package offered

Life at Frame

The way we build products at Frame is grounded in our values. Alongside our operating principles, they shape how we work and how we win. We’re not interested in slapping values on the office walls then forgetting they’re there. They are integrated in everything we do, we assess them during our hiring process, with existing colleagues, and actively encourage feedback around our values. We take pride in these values. Ultimately, they are measured by how we actually feel working with one another, and we want our Frame people to feel empowered, happy, and cared for which in turn translates into how we serve our customers.

We Start with Why to ensure there is clear purpose and intent before acting, building, or automating. We have a Bias to Action, we take ownership, move quickly, and iterate rather than waiting for perfect answers. Our actions are always Rooted in Integrity. We do the right thing with data, money, partners, and decisions, especially when no one is watching. Feedback culture matters. We aim to Be Decent. Be Direct, collaborating with respect, clarity, and care, even in disagreement. Everything we do is guided by The Discerning Eye - High Taste. We care deeply about quality, detail, and craft in how things look, feel, and work. These values shape the culture at Frame and guide how we build products and serve our customers as we pursue our vision.
