Datacenter People are currently supporting a global leader in data center and electrical infrastructure in the search for a Senior Product Manager to take ownership of a critical and growing fiber optic accessory product line.
This is a high-impact role at a pivotal time, as the business continues to invest heavily in the data center market and expand its connectivity portfolio.
The Opportunity
You will take full ownership of the fiber connectivity product line, driving both near-term execution and long-term strategy.
This includes:
- Defining product strategy and roadmap (3-5 year horizon)
- Leading new product development (NPD) initiatives
- Driving revenue growth and margin performance
- Supporting go-to-market strategy and product launches
- Working cross-functionally with engineering, sales, operations and marketing
- Engaging with customers, partners and industry stakeholders
- You will also manage a small team, including a Product Manager and Associate PM.
The portfolio sits within data center connectivity infrastructure, including:
- Fiber connectivity solutions
- Optical infrastructure & high-density environments
- Structured cabling ecosystems
The business is focused on differentiating through ease of installation, scalability and performance, with new product innovation already underway.
We're Looking for Someone Who...
- Strong expertise in fiber optics (essential)
- Experience within data center or connectivity markets
- Background in product management, engineering, or technical marketing
- Ability to translate market insight into product strategy
- Strong cross-functional leadership and influencing skills
