Senior Product Manager

Moodys NWC is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead digital product initiatives within the Billing and Payments domain for a large-scale consumer digital platform. This role will focus on owning and evolving critical monetization capabilities such as billing experiences, payment processing, invoicing, transaction flows, and revenue assurance.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in digital consumer products, understands the payments ecosystem, and has hands-on experience working in high-volume, customer-facing environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for billing and payments digital capabilities.
  • Define product vision, roadmap, and success metrics aligned with customer experience, transaction success rate, and financial accuracy.
  • Partner closely with engineering, UX, data, finance, and operations teams to deliver secure, scalable payment solutions.
  • Drive enhancements across billing and payment journeys including checkout/payment capture, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, and payment failure handling.
  • Manage integrations with payment gateways, processors, invoicing platforms, and downstream finance/reconciliation systems.
  • Analyze transaction data, payment failures, and funnel drop-offs to improve authorization rates and reduce revenue leakage.
  • Translate complex business requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlogs.
  • Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory standards relevant to digital payments and billing.
  • Act as the primary stakeholder for billing and payment capabilities in an agile product delivery environment.


Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience as a Product Manager working on digital consumer-facing products.
  • Proven experience in billing, payments, invoicing, or monetization platforms.
  • Strong understanding of payment processing concepts (authorization, capture, settlement, refunds, chargebacks).
  • Experience working with agile teams and delivering products in iterative, fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders across business and technology teams.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive product decisions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting media, streaming, or entertainment platforms.
  • Familiarity with high-scale consumer ecosystems processing high transaction volumes.
  • Exposure to payment gateways, digital wallets, fraud prevention, and reconciliation workflows.
  • Experience working in hybrid or distributed team models.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The salary for this position ranges from $120,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $160,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Other forms of compensation are offered in the form of medical, vision, and dental benefits.
