Sr. Process Engineer – Air Separation (Onsite | Bethlehem, PA)

We are partnering with a leading industrial technology company to hire an experienced Sr. Process Engineer. This onsite role supports the design, optimization, and troubleshooting of air separation systems while driving continuous improvement across operations.

What You’ll Do

• Develop process engineering designs, including PFDs and Heat & Material Balances.
• Run process simulations and provide data for equipment specification (compressors, chillers, adsorbers, cold boxes, heat exchangers, valves, etc.).
• Support P&ID development, HAZOP reviews, commissioning, startup, and performance testing.
• Evaluate vendor proposals and review technical drawings for compliance.
• Troubleshoot ASU issues and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Contribute to best practices, training materials, and Lessons Learned documentation.
• Stay current with emerging process technologies and industry methods.

What We’re Looking For

• B.S. in Chemical Engineering.
• 5+ years’ experience in Cryogenic or Non‑Cryogenic Air Separation.
• Hands‑on experience with PFDs, H&MB, and process simulation tools.
• Knowledge of process equipment sizing, materials, and utility requirements.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and Microsoft Office skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
• Strong commitment to safety.
