Provide technical expertise and support across the company’s projects and strategic initiatives.
Oversee and manage metallurgical testing programs aimed at defining process plant parameters and improving product specifications.
Lead the completion of process engineering deliverables, including PDC, MEB, PFD, P&ID, and MEL, followed by supporting and managing detailed design activities and coordination with engineering and construction vendors.
Deliver training to the local process plant operations team to ensure effective plant performance.
Play a key leadership role during project commissioning and ramp-up phases.
Perform all duties in alignment with the company’s Code of Conduct.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (preferably 10+ years) in inorganic chemical processing or the minerals industry, including exposure to process engineering, project development, and operations.
Hands-on experience in metallurgical process plant design and engineering, with familiarity in developing process engineering deliverables such as PDC, MEB, PFDs, P&IDs, and MEL.
Strong analytical capabilities with well-developed technical problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office Suite, with strong expertise in Microsoft Excel.
Willingness to travel sometime across North America, including periods during commissioning phases.
