We are seeking an experienced Senior Piping Designer to join our team in a hybrid capacity. In this role, you will support complex industrial and pharmaceutical facility projects, develop piping system designs, create 2D/3D models, review vendor drawings, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

This position offers the opportunity to lead design efforts, mentor junior team members, and contribute to state-of-the-art projects while working in a highly collaborative environment.

Pay: Up to $115.00 per hour DOE

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Computer Aided Drafting & Design (CADD) or related technical field
  • 15+ years of piping design experience
  • Advanced proficiency with 2D/3D piping design software such as Hexagon SmartPlant S3D and Autodesk Plant 3D
  • Experience supporting industrial, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or process facility projects
  • Strong understanding of piping design principles, layouts, and industry standards
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and coordinate piping system designs and layouts
  • Create and maintain 2D/3D models and project documentation
  • Review vendor drawings and specifications
  • Support project schedules, budgets, and design quality objectives
  • Coordinate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams
  • Assist with design estimates and project planning
  • Mentor junior designers and provide technical guidance
  • Identify and communicate design changes and project impacts
