Overview

As aSeniorMulesoftDeveloper, you will work with our growingDevSecOpspracticedeveloping APIs and integration capabilities using theMulesoftplatform to connect data, services, and systems to help our customers achieve their mission. We are looking for candidates with experience with cloud platform services, understanding businessrequirementsand implementing complex integrations. You will work with Technical/Solutions Architects and Business Analysts to translate business requirements into well‐architected solutions that bestleveragetheMulesoftplatform.

Contributions

Responsibilities

  • Develop APIs and integrations using theMulesoftplatform across a broad range of software programming tasks to ensure that their systems integrations are functional.
  • Document as-is state of the environment, perform a gap analysis, and produce artifacts that articulate options and recommendations
  • Create and provide technical documentation that explains upcoming or existing integrations to non-technical individuals.
  • Engineer and implement solutions and provide recommendations for continuous improvement for the services provided
  • Identifytechnical problems, perform root cause analysis, and develop software updates and ‘fixes’
  • Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers
  • Test and examining code written by others and analyzing results
  • Ensure that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
  • Act as an individual contributor and mentor more junior team members
  • Present regular status updates and provide cross training to other team members.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. government Security Clearance
  • BS Degree in an IT field OR BS in a non-IT field and 2 years related IT experience
  • 5Years of Experience with theMulesoftplatform to include:
  • AnyPointStudio
  • MulesoftCloudHub2.0
  • MuleSoft versions 4.6 and above
  • 5Years of Experience with one or more clouds (i.e.AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • 5Years of Experience with Git SCM providers such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket
  • 5Years of Experience with one or more programming or scripting languages
  • 5Years of Experience with Salesforce Integrations
  • Years of Experience with Cloud and Hybrid Integrations

Preferred:

  • Certifications:
  • MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect - Level 1
  • MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect - Level 1
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner
  • AWS Solution Architect Associate
  • Azure Developer Associate
  • 5Years of application development experience in an Agile environment
  • Experience implementing docker containersandutilizingplatforms such as Kubernetes
  • Experiencedesigning,implementing, and documentingAPIs
  • ExperienceutilizingCI/CD pipelines with tools such asJenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Pipelines,CircleCI,TravisCI
  • Experience implementing Automated Testing frameworksto test APIs and integrations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills

Steampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $140,000 to $170,000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
