What Youll Do Provide analysis to ensure alignment and synchronization of AMSO client mission areas and priorities with national requirements. Assess program requirements to develop comprehensive plans and recommend viable options to develop potential solutions for identified acquisition gaps across the Army Enterprise. Provide support to our Army client in systems acquisition program and acquisition management planning, develop acquisition-related guidance, and recommend policy to the client. Draft revisions for Army Regulation 5-11 and DA Pamphlet 5-11 Serve as a conference planner and facilitator, compiling products, including cost analyses, conference agenda, and key after-actions strategic planning documents to enable tracking of key actions and future planning. Conferences include but not limited to: The Army M&S Forum, The Army Operations Research Symposium (AORS), the Military Operations Research Society Symposium (MORSS), Simulation Innovation Workshop (SIW), and the Interservice / Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC). Lead or assist in modeling and simulation capability portfolio reviews to capture Army Community gaps. Coordinate with subject matter experts to define and scope modeling and simulation gaps for specific working groups. Lead working group forums, gap and discussion documentation, presentation development, working group communications, and updating the AMSO SharePoint site with working group documentation.Requirements Masters degree from an accredited college or university in related topic / field. Five (5) years of progressive experience Army and Department of War processes and possess quantifiable modeling and simulation expertise. Two (2) years of experience within the last seven (7) years providing staff analysis and recommendations that informed senior leader decisions at a DoW Service level Headquarters. Command and General Staff College (or equivalent other education). Knowledge of the interrelationships between M&S community of expertise and other communities. Ability to develop point papers, briefings and presentations, and make formal oral presentations of these materials to all levels of government personnel, including O-6 and civilian equivalent Experience with Microsoft A365 products. Knowledge of DoD 5000 policies and documents. Graduate of the Simulation Operations CoursePreferred Qualifications T2COM Instructor Certification Demonstrated experience with tactical and operational level employment of Army and Joint models and simulations across multiple Army Compos. TS/SCI clearance.
