We are partnering with a well-funded, clinical-stage biotech advancing a novel therapeutic platform targeting cardiometabolic disease, including obesity, heart failure, and related metabolic disorders.
With multiple clinical programs progressing through mid–late stage development, the company is entering a critical inflection point and is looking to appoint a Senior Medical Director to play a key leadership role across clinical strategy and execution.
The Opportunity
This is a high-impact, visible role working directly with executive leadership, with responsibility for shaping and delivering clinical development strategy across key programs.
You will be instrumental in:
- Advancing programs from Phase 2 → Phase 3
- Driving regulatory interactions (FDA/EMA)
- Leading cross-functional clinical execution across global studies
Key Responsibilities
- Provide medical leadership across ongoing and planned clinical trials (Phase 1–3)
- Lead clinical strategy, including protocol design, endpoints, and study execution
- Act as a key contributor to regulatory submissions (IND/CTA, NDA/BLA)
- Serve as a medical expert for internal stakeholders and external partners (KOLs, CROs, regulators)
- Support data interpretation, publications, and investor communications
- Collaborate closely with Translational, Regulatory, Biometrics, and Commercial teams
Ideal Profile
- MD or MD/PhD with significant industry experience in clinical development
- Strong track record in cardiometabolic diseases (e.g., obesity, heart failure, T2D, MASH)
- Experience leading global clinical trials, ideally through late-stage development
- Proven success in regulatory interactions (FDA/EMA)
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth biotech environment
- Strong communication skills with experience engaging KOLs and senior stakeholders
