Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are hiring an experienced Mechanical Engineer III to join a leading team focused on advanced automation and precision manufacturing systems. This is a 6-month contract (with strong potential for extension) based in Wilmington, NC (100% onsite).

📌 Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop precision mechanical components and automation equipment
• Work with CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor) for detailed design
• Integrate motion control systems (servo motors, stepper motors, actuators)
• Support system integration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
• Conduct engineering analysis, simulations, and validation
• Collaborate cross-functionally and maintain technical documentation

✅ Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering
• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing and equipment design
• Strong expertise in automation equipment and mechanical system integration
• Proficiency in SolidWorks (must-have)
• Knowledge of motion control systems and thermal/heat transfer principles
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
