Job Description

We are seeking a driven and experienced Sr Mechanical Engineer to take on a pivotal role in product and system architecture, customer collaboration, and the design of innovative actuator solutions. Responsibilities

• Lead product and system architecture design for innovative actuator solutions.
• Collaborate closely with customers to ensure solutions meet their technical needs.
• Design and develop new products using SolidWorks and other engineering tools.
• Provide leadership and guidance in the development of complex machined assemblies and power transmission systems.
• Manage requirements and system-level architecture design.
• Communicate effectively with customer technical teams and program leadership.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical machine design for industrial automation or defense products.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS for computer-aided design and analysis.
• Experience in designing precision mechanical systems including bearings, shafts, gearing, motors, drives, ball/roller screw mechanisms, and linear motion components.
• Strong leadership, critical thinking, optimization, and decision-making skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Familiarity with regulated and mission-critical industries such as defense, aerospace, medical, or industrial automation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interface confidently with customer technical teams.

This is a Permanent position based out of Medina, MN.

The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $130000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Medina,MN.
