Description
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Senior Marketing Manager leads the development and execution of marketing strategies for Gas South District events, with a primary focus on Gas South Theater and select Arena shows. The role oversees marketing performance from announcement through event, driving ticket sales, maximizing revenue, and optimizing campaign effectiveness.
The Senior Marketing Manager works cross-functionally with booking, sales, and internal teams, while serving as the primary marketing contact for promoters and external partners. This role also provides guidance to the Content Manager and Marketing Coordinator to ensure strong execution across all campaigns and consistency in brand messaging.

- Lead development and execution of marketing strategies for Gas South Theater events and assigned Arena shows.
- Manage show marketing plans from announcement through event, including positioning, targeting, and campaign strategy.
- Serve as primary marketing lead for event promoters, ensuring alignment on strategy, creative, budgets, and performance goals.
- Partner with booking, sales, and business development teams to align marketing efforts with revenue goals.
- Oversee and manage show advertising campaigns across digital, social, radio, and print channels, including planning, placement, and optimization.
- Monitor ticket sales, campaign performance, and market trends to adjust strategies and improve results.
- Develop campaign positioning and messaging that effectively reach target audiences and drive engagement.
- Ensure all marketing materials and campaigns align with Gas South District brand standards and messaging.
- Oversee development and messaging of marketing materials, including press releases, promotional copy, and campaign assets.
- Manage relationships with media outlets, influencers, and community partners to increase event exposure.
- Collaborate with the Content Manager to execute the content strategy across social and email channels.
- Guide and support the Content Manager and the Marketing Coordinator in the execution of show marketing plans and timelines.
- Manage multiple campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
- Manage event marketing budgets and track expenditures to ensure effective allocation of resources.
- Work cross-functionally with internal departments to support events and organizations' marketing needs.
- Support on-site event execution as needed, including media, partnerships, and content capture.
- Work extended and/or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Education and Experience
A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is required.
Minimum of 5-7 years of marketing experience, preferably in live entertainment, venue marketing, or a related industry. Experience managing event marketing campaigns, working directly with promoters, and driving ticketed event performance is preferred.
