Senior Market Compliance Analyst

About the Job:

HDI Global Insurance Company is seeking a Market Compliance Consultant to support enterprise compliance initiatives. This role supports compliance strategies by conducting compliance reviews and assessments of documentation, system data, and business practices to identify gaps and ensure adherence to regulatory and internal requirements. The position also plays a key role in promoting compliance awareness across the organization and reports to the Compliance Advisory and Monitoring Lead.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide compliance advisory support to business units, promoting an ethics‑based culture and serving as a trusted compliance partner.
  • Collaborate with corporate leads and business compliance partners to coordinate and deliver regulatory and compliance initiatives across multiple business units.
  • Assess the design and operating effectiveness of key compliance controls and recommend enhancements to address identified gaps or weaknesses.
  • Support compliance risk assessments, testing activities, and targeted compliance reviews.
  • Prepare and document compliance findings, including identified gaps and recommended corrective actions.
  • Assist in the development of the annual compliance work plan for approval by the Risk & Compliance Committee of the Board.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and tracking tools to monitor team metrics and enhance visibility into key compliance risk indicators.
  • Support the preparation and maintenance of routine regulatory compliance reporting.
  • Maintain and enhance compliance tools, databases, and documentation, including leveraging AI and automation to improve process efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assist with market conduct and other regulatory examinations, inquiries, and ad hoc compliance projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • 5-8+ years of experience in a compliance role in commercial P&C insurance.
  • 3+ years of experience creating and maintaining internal controls in the commercial P&C insurance industry.
  • Basic understanding of commercial P&C insurance products and surplus lines.
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.


Base salary range for this position is $110,00-$135,000 plus eligibility for a performance-based annual bonus. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors including experience, education, and location.
