About the role
Join an engineering team supporting new product introduction (NPI) and manufacturing process development in a regulated production environment. This role focuses on process validation, capacity planning, and continuous improvement initiatives to support efficient product launches and operational performance.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manufacturing engineering, process validation, and project management, preferably within medical device or high-volume manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and manufacturing readiness efforts
- Support project management activities to ensure timelines and deliverables are met
- Perform statistical analysis to support manufacturing and validation activities
- Support process validation and equipment qualification activities
- Conduct capacity analysis to support production planning
- Identify opportunities for margin expansion and cost optimization
- Support manufacturing process improvements and optimization initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product launches
- Manage suppliers and external technical resources
- Support product costing and cost of goods (COGs) analysis
- Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve manufacturing efficiency
- Support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Physics (Required)
- 5–10 years of Manufacturing or Process Engineering experience
- Minimum 4+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience
- Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI)
- Experience performing process validation and equipment qualification
- Experience performing statistical analysis for validation activities
- Demonstrated experience managing projects across cross-functional teams
- Experience managing suppliers and technical resources
- Working knowledge of product costing and COGs
- Experience supporting process improvement initiatives
- Strong communication and technical documentation skills
- Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in medical device manufacturing
- Experience in automotive manufacturing environments
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma (LSS) methodologies
- Experience supporting continuous improvement programs
- Experience supporting regulated manufacturing environments
- Experience supporting manufacturing scalability and optimization
Compensation
- Estimated annual salary: $105,000 base
- Final salary will be based on skills, experience, and interview results.
- Work Schedule: 100% Onsite
