In the role of Senior Manager, M&A, working in Chicago, IL, you will be a core member of the corporate development team with primary responsibility for executing mergers, acquisitions, minority investments, and strategic partnerships in support of the company’s inorganic growth strategy.

This role is deal focused and analytically intensive, with a heavy emphasis on financial modeling, valuation, and executive level transaction materials. You will work cross functionally to evaluate opportunities, support due diligence and transaction negotiations, and prepare investment materials for senior leadership.

This position reports to the VP, Strategic Relationships & M&A.

What You’ll Be Brewing:

  • Own and build complex M&A financial models, including standalone operating models, valuation analyses (DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions), and returns frameworks
  • Lead and synthesize financial, commercial, and operational due diligence, translating findings into value drivers, risks, and deal implications
  • Prepare materials for investment committee, executive leadership and Board, including deal summaries, valuation support, and recommendation decks
  • Support transaction execution, including coordination with external advisors such as investment banks, consultants, and legal partners, along with internal stakeholders
  • Develop structured investment theses and hypotheses to evaluate acquisition and partnership opportunities
  • Analyze market and competitive dynamics to inform target screening and opportunity prioritization
  • Manage multiple live deal workstreams simultaneously, maintaining analytical rigor under tight timelines
  • Partner with leaders across Finance, Legal, Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain across the full transaction lifecycle, from origination through close and integration planning
  • Maintain high standards for accuracy, clarity, and polish in all analytical and presentation outputs

Key Ingredients:

  • You have prior experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or transaction advisory
  • You demonstrate advanced financial modeling and valuation expertise
  • You have exceptional ability to produce clear, concise, executive ready M&A decks
  • You communicate complex analysis clearly and translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • You have experience working on live transactions with senior stakeholders
  • You have experience in consumer products, beverage, or branded goods preferred
  • You operate effectively in a fast paced, deal driven environment with competing priorities
  • You independently own analytical workstreams end to end
  • You bring high attention to detail and strong judgment under pressure

Job Posting Total RewardsOfferings:$129,900.00-$170,500.00(posting salary range) +20%target short term incentive +$12,500 + 400 Non-Qualified Stock Optionstarget long term incentive +$23,000on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).


The posting range provided above for salary is what we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We ultimately pay based on a number of non-discriminatory factors that inform pay decisions including but not limited to the required work location, previous work experience, skill set and internal equity.
