As a Solutions Manager in the Lowe’s Digital organization, you will be leading a team of global engineering talent. This position will be part of Digital leading and driving technology and product transformation of Lowes.com for Select team. The team is responsible for data that enables and powers lowes.com experiences. Looking for technical, and business leaders who can move and evolve the tech/product platforms to next gen tech. Required progressive leaders with experience in Test driven development. Follow principles to enforce DevOPS, CI/CD, TDD, and data driven development.

  • You have extensive experience in open-source technologies, agile methodologies and reliability based modern software engineering practices.
  • Are able to demonstrate a combination of a highly technical hands-on software architecture guidance and be an effective leader. You are passionate about recruiting, inspiring and developing team members.
  • You can be a subject matter expert and have strategic influence with the product / business and other engineering organizations.
  • You communicate cross-functionally across various teams, organizations and internal and external stakeholders to drive engineering efforts on consumer product initiatives.
  • Encourage a data-driven culture to improve the efficiency, scalability, stability, and security of consumer applications and in-house systems to help scale the company.
  • Partner with other software engineering teams to drive leverage, reuse and technical craftsmanship in the larger IT organization.
  • You have a proven track record of a "Can-Do" attitude and are results orientated.

What You’ll Need To Succeed;
  • Experience in managing large multi-geography (global) teams.
  • Ability to think strategically about product and business issues while managing and implementing tactical execution of delivery plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skills.
  • Solid understanding of the retail industry and customer expectations of an omni-channel company.
  • Strong understanding of customer data management platforms and related architectures.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS or related field
  • 8+ years of IT experience
  • 5+ years of experience in custom Software Development working on initiatives involving the implementation of agile software development life cycles
  • 3+ years of experience in providing technical direction, thought leadership, mentoring to project or technical team members
  • Experience implementing master customer management database technologies, including directly managing open-source technology for custom (non-package) software solutions
  • Assist in defining solutions architecture/development to support a microservices platform

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 4+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing operational and/or financial budgets
  • 3+ years of experience with customer data management architecture / schemas for large scale enterprises
  • 5+ years of experience developing and implementing solutions within a matrixed organization, including working with 3rd party vendors
  • 4+ years of management experience in the retail industry
  • 2+ years of Consulting experience
  • 3+ Years of demonstrated history of starting, hiring and growing world class engineering teams
  • 3+ years of eCommerce Architecture, Micro-services and DevOps experience
  • 3-5 years in front end technologies AngularJS, React, and Redux
