Position Overview:

This position will be a key leader in the Samsung Home Appliance Integrated Marketing Team, which will lead creative/content development and an integrated approach to the planning and implementation of campaigns to support product launches and key strategic initiatives. S/he will be responsible for the overall Go-To-Market strategy for the Cooking category, partnering with key cross functional teams to implement across all consumer and channel touchpoints.

The Senior Manager, Brand Experience will effectively manage the collaboration and integration across internal stakeholders (Product Management, Retail Marketing, Digital/Social, Media, PR, Global Brand Management, Corporate Marketing) and lead agency partner relationships in a fast-paced environment. S/he must be strategic, creative, collaborative, and results-driven to deliver holistic creative excellence and effective integrated marketing campaigns. With a keen understanding and interest in the consumer journey and shopping experience, this candidate will find new ways to break through a competitive market to drive results for Samsung.

The ideal candidate will have a background in marketing consumer-focused or technology industries, consumer-oriented strategy development, creative & communications development, and digital-led marketing. Reporting to the Senior Director, Brand Experience, this individual will collaborate with other stakeholders across the organization on strategic initiatives that drive continued growth on Samsung Electronics' Home Appliances.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop the marketing & creative strategy, communications framework, and messaging architecture for Cooking category, drive launch readiness and prepare launch toolkits

  • Lead Go to Market planning and cross-functional meetings for key launches

  • Develop creative and marketing briefs that drive cross-channel communications development/implementation across TV, Digital, Social, and Earned

  • Oversee the creative development and production processes for TV, video and digital content supporting product launches and strategic initiatives

  • Lead the Integrated Marketing approach/process by collaborating with cross functional teams to deliver/launch cross-channel marketing plans and advertising campaigns

  • Manage agency relationships and serve as the key project manager to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met

  • Conduct brand health & competitive assessments and develop a routine forum for sharing

Skills and Qualifications

Background/Experience Required:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business or marketing from an accredited college or university; a Master's Degree in business or marketing is a plus

  • 10+ years' experience in brand or product marketing, communications, and/or creative. Experience with consumer product or consumer technology is a plus

  • Understanding of key cross-functional marketing fundamentals including strategy, media, experiential, digital, social, PR, product/brand management and retail marketing

  • Experience working with agencies and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated marketing plans and campaigns

  • Understands, experience with and ability to apply consumer and category insights to identify issues and opportunities

  • Proven relationship-building skills with developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with all appropriate levels within teams, business units and large organizations, both inside and outside the company

  • Refined project management skills with an ability to translate broad business requirements into actionable project plans

  • Ability to work independently, quickly, and thoroughly to prioritize and complete tasks under multiple deadlines
