The Providence Health Plan Sr. Manager of Behavioral Health (BH) provides strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for the health plan's Behavioral Health Utilization Management and Care Management programs across all lines of business, including Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid. This role is accountable for the overall performance, quality, compliance, and financial outcomes of the BH program, including prior authorization, concurrent review, care management, and post service claims review.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent educ/experience. 
  • Active, unrestricted clinical license (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC, Psychologist, or equivalent behavioral health clinical licensure).    
  • 5 years - Minimum of 3–5 years of leadership experience in behavioral health utilization management, care management, or clinical review within a health plan or managed care setting.
  • Working knowledge of behavioral health regulatory requirements across Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid lines of business.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Prior experience in a leadership role within behavioral health or medical management.
  • Experience working in a matrixed or highly collaborative environment.
  • Exposure to audit support, quality monitoring, or compliance activities related to behavioral health.

  • Oregon: Non-Portland Service Area: Min: $56.79, Max: $89.66
  • Oregon: Portland Service Area: Min: $60.92, Max: $96.18
  • Washington: Western - Except Tukwila: Min: $63.50, Max: $100.26
  • Washington: Southwest - Olympia, Centralia & Below: Min: $60.92, Max: $96.18
