Role Overview
As Senior Logistics & Transportation Manager, you will lead onsite logistics, shipping and receiving, asset coordination, fleet management, campus transportation, and workplace-related site support services for OCI’s mission-critical data center campus operations. This role is responsible for ensuring site logistics and transportation activities are executed in a safe, organized, service-oriented, and highly reliable manner that supports continuous operations and a positive experience for employees, vendors, and visitors.
This onsite leadership role blends logistics coordination, transportation oversight, asset support, site administration, and operational services. You will directly lead logistics personnel and related support resources, overseeing the processes, vendors, vehicles, and team activities that keep site support functions running smoothly, including shipping and receiving, delivery coordination, inventory support, fleet readiness, campus transportation services, administrative workflows, workplace amenities, and visitor logistics. The role is highly execution-focused and requires strong organizational discipline, responsiveness, and the ability to support a fast-moving operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Shipping / Receiving
Lead all onsite shipping and receiving operations, including packages, freight, operational materials, vendor deliveries, and internal site transfers.
Coordinate delivery schedules, dock access, and material movement with vendors, site teams, and internal stakeholders.
Maintain accurate logs, inventory records, chain-of-custody documentation, and receiving controls where required.
Oversee storage, staging, and handling practices for operational, facility-related, and administrative materials.
Support inventory tracking, supply visibility, and material readiness for site operations and related support functions.
Fleet Management & Campus Transportation
Lead site fleet management activities, including vehicle readiness, usage coordination, service scheduling, inspection tracking, fueling/charging coordination, and recordkeeping.
Oversee campus transportation operations that support movement of personnel, materials, and site-support resources across the data center campus.
Ensure fleet vehicles, carts, utility vehicles, or other transportation assets are maintained in a safe, reliable, and operationally ready condition.
Coordinate transportation schedules, routing, and dispatch practices to support efficient site movement and campus logistics.
Manage transportation-related vendors, service providers, and support contracts as applicable.
Maintain fleet and transportation records including usage logs, maintenance history, inspection compliance, licensing support, and incident documentation.
Monitor transportation service performance, identify gaps or inefficiencies, and drive improvements in campus mobility, responsiveness, and support quality.
Asset Management & Site Support
Lead asset-related site support activities through direct oversight of Asset Managers, ensuring strong governance, record accuracy, accountability, and operational visibility for site-support assets.
Oversee asset tracking, ownership coordination, lifecycle visibility, serviceability awareness, and disposition support for non-critical and operational support assets.
Ensure alignment between physical asset conditions, inventory records, documentation, and site operational needs.
Partner with site leadership, procurement, facilities teams, and administrative stakeholders to improve asset control, readiness, and record discipline across the campus.
Operations Coordination & Administration
Coordinate site visits, vendor activities, deliveries, transportation schedules, and facility-related support work to align with site procedures and operational schedules.
Oversee administrative workflows including purchase requests, work orders, invoices, service documentation, and related site-support processes.
Maintain organized records and documentation supporting site operations, logistics tracking, asset visibility, transportation readiness, audit readiness, and compliance requirements.
Manage incoming and outgoing mail, internal deliveries, and related administrative distribution processes.
Support operational coordination across logistics, transportation, building administration, asset management, and other site services functions as needed.
Workplace & Site Support
Lead workplace-support logistics for onsite meetings, employee engagement activities, trainings, leadership visits, and site events.
Coordinate site catering, conference support, event logistics, and general workplace service needs.
Oversee maintenance of break rooms, kitchens, conference areas, and common spaces through organized restocking and service coordination.
Monitor and replenish office, workplace, and site consumables to support a well-run and professional environment.
Help ensure site-support services are delivered consistently and aligned with Oracle standards for workplace experience and operational readiness.
Vendor & Visitor Coordination
Serve as a primary point of contact for non-technical vendors, delivery providers, transportation partners, and workplace-related service partners.
Support visitor logistics including badging coordination, transportation support where needed, meeting support, site visit readiness, and general arrival experience.
Ensure vendors follow site processes, scheduling requirements, safety expectations, and service standards.
Track vendor performance related to logistics, transportation, support services, and administrative scopes; escalate issues when needed.
Leadership & Operational Support
Directly manage site logistics personnel and support resources, including Asset Managers and Logistics Specialists, providing leadership, prioritization, coaching, and accountability across campus logistics, transportation, and asset-support functions.
Lead and coordinate logistics and site-support activities in a mission-critical environment where timing, documentation, and consistency matter.
Build structure and discipline around site logistics processes, transportation operations, asset governance practices, service standards, inventory handling, and workplace support execution.
Identify process gaps, service inefficiencies, asset-control issues, transportation risks, or recurring operational support problems and drive improvements that enhance site support quality and responsiveness.
Partner with site leadership, property management, facilities teams, compliance partners, and vendors to ensure smooth execution of campus support functions.
Support a professional, service-oriented workplace culture while reinforcing accountability, responsiveness, and operational discipline.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation coordination, fleet operations, asset coordination, facilities coordination, office management, site administration, shipping/receiving, workplace operations, or related operational support roles.
Leadership experience managing people, vendors, logistics operations, transportation services, fleet activities, asset support functions, or site-support teams in a fast-paced environment; formal manager experience is helpful but not required.
Experience managing shipping/receiving, inventory processes, transportation coordination, fleet support, asset tracking, administrative processes, vendor coordination, workplace services, or logistics workflows.
Comfortable working in an operational, industrial, or mission-critical environment; data center, manufacturing, healthcare, telecom, transportation, or similar experience is a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with procurement systems, ticketing systems, inventory tools, fleet tracking systems, asset databases, or work order platforms.
Strong communication, coordination, and customer-service skills.
Ability to lift and move packages and support hands-on site logistics needs as required.

Experience in data center campuses, industrial facilities, logistics hubs, transportation operations, large corporate campuses, or other high-activity operational sites.
Familiarity with inventory control practices, shipping systems, receiving documentation, vehicle scheduling, transportation coordination, vendor scheduling, service request coordination, and asset tracking processes.
Experience supporting audit-ready documentation, chain-of-custody processes, record accuracy, transportation logs, or compliance-sensitive material handling.
Experience with fleet scheduling, vehicle maintenance coordination, transportation dispatch, or campus mobility operations is a plus.
Forklift certification, defensive driving certification, or other site logistics / transportation equipment certification is a plus where applicable.
Experience with CMMS, ticketing systems, purchasing tools, inventory management platforms, fleet management tools, or asset management systems is a plus.
Physical Demands / Work Environment
This is an onsite role supporting a mission-critical data center environment where regular attendance, responsiveness, and execution discipline are essential. To perform these duties, you must be able to frequently walk, stand, bend, lift, carry, push/pull objects, and move throughout an operational campus environment. You may be required to lift or move packages and materials as part of shipping, receiving, inventory, transportation coordination, asset support, or workplace service activities.
