About the Professional Licensing Agency:
The Indiana Professional Licensing Agency is seeking an individual to help protect the health and safety of the citizens of Indiana by providing quality, efficient service to all professional licensees, applicants, and the public. The fundamental purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to the board director, the licensing board/commissions, and to directly supervise the customer service representatives’ projects across a broad scope of career opportunities. Role Overview:
The purpose of the Professional Licensing Agency's Office of Litigation Management ("OLM") is to provide litigation support to the boards, commissions and committees ("Boards") that PLA serves by operating with standard procedures in the handling of litigated matters before the Boards. OLM, consisting of 7 Litigation Coordinators, a Senior Legal Analyst, and the Director of Litigation Management, is a team process, with each Litigation Coordinator performing a primary role in the litigation process. The Senior Legal Analyst will be cross-trained to handle all facets of the litigation process, including intake, scheduling, sending hearing notices, hearing preparation, representing OLM in hearings by providing testimony and note taking, third party reporting, reviewing and issuing orders, performing monitoring and tracking compliance with board orders, evaluating compliance and making recommendations, researching and responding to subpoenas, and contributing to the ongoing evaluation of processes and procedures to improve the division
Preferred candidate will have experience in working for and/or managing workflows in either a law firm, court, clerk's office, or corporate legal department.
Salary Statement:
The salary for this position traditionally starts at $53,222.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.
