About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Sustainable Finance Integration Specialist to help drive strategic initiatives, provide subject matter expertise, and support the businesses and clients in their transitions to effectively deliver on Wells Fargo's $500 billion sustainable finance commitment. Reporting to the Sustainable Finance Integration Leader, the Specialist will help grow the company's sustainable finance capabilities, and drive discovery of and execution against new sustainable finance business opportunities in partnership with the lines of business, working towards the sustainable finance commitment. In this role, you will:

  • Be a key team member and subject matter expert delivering sustainable finance know-how through multiple channels across the bank to help Wells Fargo meet its sustainable finance goals
  • Collaborate across Wells Fargo's Sustainability team and business units to assist in developing differentiated sustainable finance products and solutions.
  • Create and deliver analyses, insights and content to multiple stakeholders within and outside the bank, with a focus on articulating the opportunities, pathways and financial solutions that exist to deploy clean energy, decarbonization, and sustainability solutions.
  • Support thought leadership, capacity building and other initiatives of the Sustainability team and Institute for Sustainable Finance, including the creation of content focused on decarbonization and clean energy market trends, opportunities and/or policies to educate partners across the bank and inform client engagement
  • Coordinate, execute and support enterprise needs including education and training
  • Ensure external perspectives are understood to inform our strategy and climate initiatives

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Community Impact & Sustainability experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Deep subject matter expertise in finance tools, decarbonization/sustainability solutions, and policy trends related to key markets including renewable power, storage, clean transportation, building upgrades (efficiency and electrification), distributed generation and/or industry
  • Experience creating presentations, documents, and materials with market intelligence and analysis that is suitable for internal use by bankers, and occasionally by executives and clients
  • Ability to perform effectively in an ever-evolving environment and successfully address high-priority, time-sensitive matters
  • Excellent analytical ability including the ability to summarize complex issues clearly and concisely and to develop and convey cogent recommendations
  • Ability to operate successfully in a matrixed organization, supporting the initiatives of the Sustainability team while supporting line-of-business partners
  • Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders to achieve common ground and resolve obstacles to success
  • Strong drive, work ethic and sense of urgency; will flourish in a demanding work environment
  • Ability to manage and track multiple projects and activities to successful conclusion
  • Demonstrated knowledge, commitment and experience with diversity, equity and inclusion
