Commercial Banking provides financial solutions to businesses with annual sales generally in excess of $5 million. Our business lines are Wells Fargo Commercial Capital, Middle Market Banking, and Treasury Management & Payment Solutions.

Treasury Management & Payment Solutions

  • Provides cash management services and digital channel capabilities for customers of Commercial Banking and Corporate & Investment Banking
  • Also serves some Consumer and Small Business Banking and Wealth and Investment Management customers, and Auto Dealer Finance partner relationships in Consumer Lending

We are hiring a Senior Lead Product Manager to join the Payables Product Executive Team within Global Treasury Management. This Product Manager, with US ACH expertise in particular will define and execute the product strategy and innovation agenda for Commercial Banking and Corporate & Investment Banking clients. Utilizing traditional and emerging capabilities in technology, operations and data analytics, the ACH Product Manager will ensure the delivery of a differentiated customer experience.

The successful candidate will take personal ownership to deliver results, will possess deep experience and a strong understanding of the US ACH and the Payments industry and should be able to analyze market opportunities, identify opportunities for differentiation, develop use cases, analyze business cases and use the analyses to present cogent strategies.

  • Develop, socialize, and implement an annual ACH Services product plan, product development roadmap, and pricing strategy
  • Evaluate competitive intelligence to understand new trends for US ACH
  • Sponsor potential product enhancements or functionality to deliver business value and/or improve the client experience
  • Proven understanding of current payment opportunities (Faster Payments, Internet of Things, Blockchain, Application Programming Interface, Artificial Intelligence, and others).
  • Serve as senior point of escalation for key cross-functional partners including Sales, Technology, Operations, Risk and Control, Legal and others to ensure successful outcomes
  • Partner with Relationship Managers and Sales to interview and meet with customers to understand client needs, market problems and growth opportunities
  • Anticipate and resolve complex operational and process problems that arise and being a leader in client issue resolution
  • Assess and effectively manage all risks associated with business objectives and activities to ensure adherence to Wells Fargo's Risk Management Framework

There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

 



Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, strategic planning or a combination of both, with one or a combination of the following: treasury, trade or payments products


Desired Qualifications

  • Accredited ACH Professional (AAP)
  • Experience with Agile methodology of project delivery


Other Desired Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in payables product management, banking operations, strategic planning or payments processing with a focus on ACH services
  • ACH Product knowledge
  • Superior influencing skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly transforming and high-pressure environment
  • Exceptional written, oral and presentation skills required


Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
