Our client is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex, enterprise-level technology initiatives. This role requires a strategic leader who can successfully manage highly integrated projects, align cross-functional stakeholders, and drive execution from planning through delivery. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic environments, excels at stakeholder engagement, and has a proven ability to deliver business-critical projects with measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, manage, and maintain project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans using appropriate project management methodologies and frameworks.
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, and decisions (RAID).
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address obstacles to ensure successful delivery.
  • Coordinate resources, budgets, and priorities across multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups.
  • Build strong relationships with business leaders, technology teams, vendors, and external partners.
  • Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and executive-level discussions to drive alignment and decision-making.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, status reports, dashboards, and executive communications.
  • Manage project action items and ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Communicate project updates, milestones, risks, and challenges to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Collaborate with peer project managers and leadership teams to support enterprise-wide project coordination and resource planning.
  • Drive accountability across teams while maintaining focus on business objectives and delivery outcomes.


Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of IT Project Management experience leading complex technology initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale migration, integration, or enterprise transformation projects.
  • Strong ability to translate technical requirements into clear business objectives, project plans, and actionable deliverables.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and executive communication skills.
  • Proven experience facilitating meetings with diverse stakeholder groups and driving consensus in complex environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence decision-making and build trusted relationships across all levels of an organization.
  • Experience gathering, documenting, and validating business and functional requirements in partnership with technical and business teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, competing demands, and cross-functional dependencies while maintaining project momentum.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated success working independently while leading collaborative, cross-functional teams.
  • Solid financial management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and project financial oversight.
  • Executive presence and the ability to confidently interact with senior leadership.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset with a strong focus on delivering results.
  • Experience navigating complex organizational dynamics and engaging with strong personalities in high-visibility environments.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Consulting experience supporting large organizations through technology and business transformation initiatives.
  • Background in software development or technical engineering prior to transitioning into project management.
  • Experience within highly regulated industries, including healthcare, with knowledge of data privacy, security, and compliance requirements.
