Compensation: $90,000 – $115,000 annually

A growing financial services organization is seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst with strong Workday expertise to support and optimize its HR technology environment. This role will serve as the primary subject matter expert for Workday HCM, driving system configuration, reporting, analytics, and continuous improvement across HR processes.


The ideal candidate will have a strong combination of technical Workday experience, HR systems knowledge, and business partnership skills to help translate HR and business needs into scalable system solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Workday HCM subject matter expert, supporting configuration, optimization, and system enhancements.
  • Build and maintain advanced Workday reports, dashboards, and calculated fields to support HR leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Partner cross-functionally with HR, Finance, Payroll, and IT to gather requirements and implement scalable system solutions.
  • Support HR business processes including compensation and performance cycles within Workday.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes.
  • Maintain HR data governance standards, perform audits, and ensure system accuracy and integrity.
  • Lead testing, system upgrades, and new feature deployments.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes through automation, reporting, and system enhancements.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of progressive HRIS experience (Senior-level candidates typically bring 5–8+ years).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong experience with Workday HCM configuration.
  • Experience developing advanced Workday reports and dashboards.
  • Experience with Workday security configuration and HR data governance.
  • Ability to partner effectively with cross-functional stakeholders across HR, Finance, Payroll, and IT.
  • Experience supporting compensation and performance management processes in Workday.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with HR analytics and workforce data reporting.
  • Background supporting HR system implementations or major enhancements.
  • Experience working within data governance and audit environments.
