Job Title: Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst

Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid – Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)

Duration: Direct Hire

Salary Range: $95K – $115K/annum


Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to support strategic financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, executive reporting, and business performance analysis within a large enterprise environment. This role will partner closely with senior leadership and executive stakeholders to provide actionable financial insights, drive planning initiatives, and support decision-making processes.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial planning and forecasting, advanced analytical capabilities, financial systems expertise, and the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-finance business leaders.


Key Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.

• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic business initiatives.

• Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.

• Prepare executive-level financial reports, dashboards, and presentations.

• Partner with business leaders to evaluate operational and financial performance.

• Conduct variance analysis and support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reviews.

• Support financial system implementations, enhancements, and process improvements.

• Utilize advanced Excel, SQL, and BI tools to analyze and visualize financial data.

• Develop ad hoc financial analyses to support executive decision-making.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, IT, and Leadership teams.

• Assist with business case development, investment analysis, and strategic planning initiatives.

• Support automation efforts and process optimization projects.


Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field.

• 6+ years of FP&A, Financial Analysis, or Corporate Finance experience.

• Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.

• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, Lookups, Financial Models, and Reporting.

• Experience with SQL for data extraction and analysis.

• Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau.

• Strong executive communication and presentation skills.

• Experience supporting senior leadership and business stakeholders.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Strata Planning & Analytics.

• Healthcare industry experience.

• Financial systems implementation or ERP deployment experience.

• Project management experience.

• Process automation or AI-driven reporting experience.

• MBA, CPA, or FP&A Certification preferred.


Ideal Candidate Profile

The successful candidate is a strategic finance professional with deep expertise in planning, forecasting, and financial analysis. They are comfortable partnering with executive leadership, translating complex financial data into business insights, and driving process improvements through technology and automation. Candidates with Strata experience, healthcare industry exposure, and enterprise-level FP&A experience will be highly regarded.
