Senior Executive Assistant to CEO

San Francisco (On-site)

$150k - 180k + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

We are seeking a Senior Executive Assistant to support the CEO in a high-impact, fast-paced environment. This is a true executive partnership role — not just administrative support, but a trusted extension of the CEO’s operating capacity.

While the core focus is executive support, this role also includes a secondary layer of personal support. This is part of operating at this level and requires genuine comfort, sound judgment, and discretion. We are looking for someone with proven tenure who is looking for longevity and motivated to build, deepen trust over time, and grow alongside the CEO and company.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and manage the CEO’s calendar end-to-end: prioritization, sequencing, and time protection
  • Act as a strategic gatekeeper and thought partner, ensuring the CEO’s time is aligned to highest-impact work
  • Draft and manage communications on behalf of the CEO, including emails, pre-reads, and external correspondence
  • Track priorities, follow-ups, and open threads — proactively surfacing what needs attention
  • Coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders, including investors and board members
  • Support travel planning, logistics, and day-of execution
  • Provide personal/lifestyle support as needed (scheduling, appointments, errands, ad hoc requests)
  • Operate with absolute discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 3+ years supporting a CEO at a technology company
  • Strong tenure in past positions
  • Full ownership of complex calendaring — not just scheduling, but prioritization and conflict management
  • Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to match executive voice and tone
  • Highly proactive operating style — anticipates needs and stays ahead of issues
  • Strong judgment and ability to handle confidential information with complete discretion
  • Eagerness to take on personal support duties
  • Exposure to board, investor, or external stakeholder coordination
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and helping define the role as it evolves
  • Familiarity with AI tools and modern productivity tooling
  • Experience supporting fundraising, board prep, or investor communications

This is a rare opportunity to become a deeply embedded partner to a CEO at a critical stage of growth. The right candidate will be someone who values trust, operates with precision, and is motivated to build something enduring.
