Senior Electrical Project Manager

Dotson Electric is hiring a Senior Electrical Project Manager. We are not looking for someone to fill a seat. We are looking for someone who wants to build something -- with us.

The right person knows the electrical trade from the ground up, takes ownership of their work, and brings relationships to the table. If you have your own crew, your own clients, and a track record of getting work done right, we want to hear from you.

• Electrical knowledge. You know the work. Journeyman experience or equivalent field background is the foundation everything else is built on.
• Accubid experience. We use it. You’ll need to know it or learn it.
• Ownership. You follow through. Your name means something. Clients and crews trust you because you deliver.
• Your own people. If you have electricians who want to work with you, bring them. Self-sufficiency in the field is a big deal here.
• Your own contacts. Existing client relationships or the ability to bring in new work is a genuine advantage. We want people who can grow the business, not just run it.
• Superintendent connections. If you know strong site electrical superintendents, that matters to us. We are building a bench.

• Manage commercial and industrial electrical projects from start to closeout
• Own budgets, schedules, and client relationships across multiple projects at once
• Coordinate with Superintendents, Foremen, and field crews
• Handle change orders, RFIs, submittals, and contract documents
• Keep projects on schedule and within budget
• Maintain client relationships and look for opportunities to bring in new work
• Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and company safety standards
• Report on project financials and keep leadership informed

Required

• 7+ years of electrical construction experience with real field background
• 3+ years in project management or leadership
• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent
• Strong NEC and electrical systems knowledge

Preferred

• Existing client or GC relationships: bonus if you have crew or field connections
• Knowledge of strong electrical superintendents in the region
• OSHA 30 certification
• Experience with industry software

• $100-120,000+ depending on experience and what you bring
