We are placing a Senior Electrical Engineer (PE Level) with a nationally ranked, 550-person architecture and engineering firm with offices across the country. This is a firm that is actively growing and they need experienced engineers who want to lead, mentor, and build something meaningful.
About the Role
If you are a PE with 8 or more years of electrical design experience and you are ready to stop being one of many and start being someone who shapes a team, this is worth your attention.
Responsibilities
- Leading electrical system design from concept through final construction documents
- Designing power distribution, lighting controls, fire alarm, grounding, and low-voltage systems
- Coordinating directly with architects, structural, mechanical, and construction teams
- Mentoring junior engineers and providing technical direction within the MEP group
- Reviewing and applying local, state, and federal code requirements across diverse project types
- Supporting construction-phase services through project close-out
Qualifications
- Active PE license in good standing (or ability to obtain in the state where you are based)
- 8 or more years of electrical system design in a building or MEP environment
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; experience with SKM and photometric software a plus
- ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Healthcare or federal project experience is a strong differentiator here
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven setting
