Position: Electrical Engineer IV

Pay Rate: $65-$68/hour on W2

Location: Houston TX (Hybrid)

Duration: 12+ Months (Possible Extension)


Role Summary:

The Senior Electrical Engineer will oversee and manage the electrical and controls design of expansion and maintenance capital projects for large horsepower turbine and motor-driven centrifugal compressor stations (10,000 – 30,000 HP). You will ensure compliance with company standards, industry codes (NEC), and project budget/schedule.


Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required)
  • 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in engineering & project management
  • Strong experience in design of large compressor stations
  • Expertise in:
  • Power Systems: 4160V switchgear, 480V MCCs, motors, transformers, generators, grounding, cathodic protection
  • Controls: Allen-Bradley PLCs, Wonderware, ESD systems, motor control circuits
  • Instrumentation: Smart transmitters (Rosemount, Honeywell), etc.
  • Experience in Hazardous Classified Areas per NEC
  • PE license is preferred
