Senior Electrical Engineer, Microgrid Power Generation. Location: Greater Houston, TX This position is primarily responsible for the design, analysis, and documentation of electrical systems for microgrids, mobile power generation, power distribution, and renewable energy equipment. Duties can involve some on-site commissioning and troubleshooting work. Responsibilities include leading the full engineering lifecycle of power generation projects, conducting engineering design reviews, collaborating with internal teams, and providing engineering support. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field. - Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Electrical Engineering (required). - 4+ years of engineering experience in power generation, BESS, transmission & distribution, renewables, or related energy sectors. - Deep knowledge of low- and medium-voltage electrical systems, distribution design, and power equipment. - Proficiency in power generation concepts, load flow, fault analysis, electrical protection, communications protocols, and equipment sizing.
