This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer to take ownership of the electrical function within a growing office. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical design efforts across a variety of building systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, emergency power, security, telecommunications, and data systems
- Provide technical oversight and mentorship to a team of junior and mid-level engineers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver coordinated, high-quality design solutions
- Interface directly with clients, providing technical guidance, evaluating design options, and supporting decision-making processes
- Oversee project execution, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and deliverables are met
- Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required)
- 10+ years of experience within an engineering consulting (A/E or MEP) environment
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license (required or ability to obtain)
- Proven experience leading projects and mentoring engineering teams
- Strong understanding of electrical systems design for commercial, institutional, or infrastructure projects
- Experience with design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar platforms
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
