Birdi Systems, Inc. (BSI) is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead complex electrical construction and infrastructure projects across large-scale commercial, transportation, and critical infrastructure environments.
We are looking for a hands-on construction leader with strong field experience, proven project management capabilities, and the ability to drive projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and can effectively manage field operations, subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and client relationships.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage electrical construction projects from kickoff through completion
- Oversee project scope, schedules, budgets, procurement, and execution
- Lead field teams performing conduit installation, wire pulling, power distribution, and system installation
- Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and other trades
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, daily reports, and project documentation
- Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and California building codes
- Conduct QA/QC inspections, testing, and project closeout activities
- Support material planning, equipment logistics, and workforce coordination
- Provide regular project updates to internal leadership and clients
What You Bring:
- 5–10+ years of electrical construction project management experience
- Strong electrical field/construction background
- Experience managing active job sites and field crews
- Knowledge of:
- Power distribution systems
- EMT, RMC, GRC, and PVC conduit installation
- Underground and above-ceiling conduit systems
- Electrical construction best practices and safety standards
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Journeyman or Master Electrician certification preferred
- Experience with aviation, transportation, infrastructure, or government projects
- Familiarity with low-voltage systems, BMS, or SCADA systems
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management tools
- OSHA 30 Certification preferred
