Title: Sr. Data Analyst IV
Location: St Louis, MO (fully on site)
Pay Rate: $50-55/hr
Duration: 12-month ongoing contract
Must haves:
- 5+ yrs of SQL experience (read + understand, write from scratch, edit others work, troubleshoot code where issues have occurred, optimize complex queries and more)
- Experience with pulling data from multiple sources for reporting efforts, working with ERP-based reporting solutions
- Tableau experience for building visuals and dashboarding for reports
- Power BI experience
- Strong data background - understand how data relates to everything else, how everything fits together within the data, how to create business justification from the data, what solutions can the data offer, etc)
- Experience supporting financial data and enterprise reporting
Plusses:
- Business Objects (BObj) experience highly preferred
- Experience with the SAP ecosystem integrations including: Ariba, Fieldglass, Prism, Concur, ShareWell, Jira, etc.
- SAP BusinesObjects Information Design Tool (IDT) experience and/or Star Schema data modeling approach or similar
- Experience designing historical financial data models
- Python or other coding expertise

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Data & Reporting Analyst to support a large enterprise client operating within the SAP ecosystem. This individual will play a critical role in building and maintaining ERP‑based financial reporting solutions, with a strong focus on SAP BusinessObjects and advanced SQL. The ideal candidate is a senior‑level analyst who understands how data fits together across systems, partners closely with business stakeholders, and delivers both reports and long‑term data solutions. This role is highly collaborative, hands‑on, and best suited for someone who thrives in complex enterprise data environments.
Day‑to‑Day:
- Design and enhance SAP BusinessObjects universes using IDT
- Read and troubleshoot SQL generated from BOBJ reports to identify data issues
- Build and maintain ERP financial reports pulling from SAP and integrated systems
- Support business units by translating business needs into reporting and data solutions
- Partner with users to understand why data is needed and recommend better solutions
- Build reports in BOBJ and dashboards in Tableau for executive‑level visibility
- Help automate reporting processes and improve data accessibility
- Contribute to a “one‑stop shop” financial reporting environment
- Take direction on data design and implement solutions independently
